Sending Prayers to the Family at this difficult time...Our sons went to grade school together and I will always remember Janine for being so Happy and Sweet. She had a smile that radiated the room!!!
Janine Marie Dammann, (nee Astino), 56, of Mullica Hill, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 1, 2017, at home.
Janine was an Administrative Assistant to the principal for the Swedesboro-Woolwich School District. She was a member of the Mullica Hill Women's Tri-Club, a friend to all, who loved life, community, her home and her work.
Beloved wife for 35 year to Michael Dammann, loving mother of Vincent (Anastasia) and Benjamin Dammann, devoted grandmother of Michael, dear sister of Mary Kay Ficcarotta and Joe Astino, daughter-in-law of Lillian Dammann, who cared for Janine during her illness, and caring aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Dominick and Catherine (Grillo) Astino.
Her visitation will be held Tuesday, January 3 from 6-9pm and Wednesday, January 4 from 10-11am at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, 17 Earlington Ave., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, where Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30am. Interment private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Janine's memory to the Fisher House Foundation at www.fisherhouse.org or to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, Holy Name of Jesus at the church address above.
